  11.    I know this one has taken ages, and I'm sorry for that. We intended to
  12. get this version out much earlier, but so many things kept holding us up:
  13. bugs kept creeping up, the PTT took away my telephone lines, I had hardware
  14. troubles with my machines here and so on. Anyway, we finally managed to
  15. put this release together.

  17.    There are not really too many new features in this release (well, there
  18. are the one or two things that "slipped" in :-), like KS 2.04 public screens,
  19. enhanced accounting, fax software support, etc.), but mainly we have spent
  20. some literally months on fixing two weird bugs. One was in the EMSI handshake
  21. -- quite a few of you have seen those "0:0/0.0" addresses and EMSI failures
  22. in the past... that's past and gone now. The other one is hopefully fixed
  23. and that's the "duplicate file sending" bug in the ZedZap routines. This
  24. has been _really_ though to find. I'm still not 100% sure if it's absolutly
  25. flawless now, but I'm quite confident it will give you less trouble than
  26. before ;-)

  28.    Ah yes, before I go -- here are some suggestions on how to upgrade from
  29. a previous release of TrapDoor:

  31.    We have our standard directory structure for all Trap#? programs:

  52. and the files will automatically be extracted to the correct location.

  54.    You will find that most of the new options and configuration keywords
  55. default to reasonable values, so you can just leave them out for the moment.

  57.    If you are using a nodelist, you should not forget to install the new
  58. traplist.library and the corresponding new TrapList.
